Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience (X years) in mechanical design and development for robotics or automation systems.
3. Strong proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling and mechanical design (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
4. In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including kinematics, dynamics, and structural analysis.
5. Extensive experience in designing and integrating mechanical components, such as actuators, sensors, and end effectors, into robotic systems.
6. Familiarity with industry-standard programming languages and software tools for robotics (e.g., ROS, MATLAB).
7. Proficient in performing stress and finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure mechanical components meet required specifications.
8. Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to think critically in complex situations.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
